The CEIB has its own research equipment OF each laboratory, as well as equipment of common use. Together, the main existing equipment is mentioned below.

Gas chromatographs, HPLCs equipped with different detectors, gas chromatograph coupled to a mass spectrometer, atomic absorption spectrophotometer, UV spectrophotometers, lyophilizers, fermenters of different volumes, PCRs, ultracentrifuge, centrifuges, deep freezers, controlled environment incubators, incubator incubators , extractor hoods, laminar flow hoods, coolers, growing room, plant growth room, development room, deionizer, room for bioreactors, cold room and autoclaves, only to mention the most important of them.

The CEIB also has a computer room that provides the service to postgraduate students. This center has 12 computers connected to the internet, in addition to basic services such as printers, scanners and copiers.

The CEIB has a library that serves professors and students of the postgraduate studies. Nowadays there are more than 2500 books in the area of Biotechnology. In order to teach units in a more practical way, the CEIB has projectors and computers that allow to be up to date in the didactic modality, as well as in the use of software in the area of Biotechnology.

Physical resources

The CEIB is a building with 1500 m 2 of construction, which includes 9 research laboratories and a laboratory dedicated exclusively to Teaching, which is operated between the School of Biological Sciences and the CEIB. This Laboratory shares the infrastructure to support laboratory practices of the first degree, but mostly the research work of postgraduate studies.

In addition, different specialized spaces have been adapted such as: growth rooms with temperature and controlled photoperiod for in vitro plant cultivation, development room, cold room, common spaces for laboratory equipment and a space for bioreactors.

The CEIB has also classrooms specially designed and adapted to teach postgraduate units as well as undergraduate courses. The rooms have furniture for this purpose. Also, there is an audiovisual room for 60 people, where they are held weekly, seminars that are shared between the academic community of the Center.

Administrative procedures

This section aims to clarify the administrative procedures that are performed to operate the Master in Biotechnology. These include teachers and students, as well as those collegiate bodies that are responsible for it.
